Air Force Command Headquarter today the 19th indicated, during the routine night flight training implemented by Air Force Academy, as 3 AT-3 model trainer aircrafts was returning to the ground on 1949 hour, tire deflated incident took place, the staffs handle the incident based on standard procedure, both Pilate and aircraft are safe, reasons to be investigated by the related units.

Air Force Command Headquarter further expressed, after occurrence of deflated incident, airport was closed on 1950 hour, the two AT-3 model trainer aircrafts in the air have transfer landed on Tainan Base safely, our Headquarter will follow up on compiling a special case committee to go into Air Force Academy to investigate on the cause of this incident, to prevent similar case from occurring, in order to safeguard the safety of flight training.
